A beautiful mews apartment right in the centre of Henley with gated parking. A first floor Georgian flat with 2 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a sofa bed in the sitting room to sleep a total of 5. A perfect place to stay for couples, friends or families. It looks out onto Market Square but the flat has sound insulation so very quiet. Henley has a number of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and pubs - all on your doorstep and Henley Regatta is walking distance from the apartment.

Good to know

This mews development has recently had a complete renovation so you will benefit from stylish modern living throughout and is super spacious. It has 2 carpeted bedrooms: Bedroom One is large with an en-suite shower/WC wet room and is at the back of the property (king size bed, sleeps 2) Bedroom Two overlooks Market Square. It can be set up as 2 small single beds or one king size bed (Zip and Link beds). We have invested in Winter goose feather & down pillows and duck feather and down King Size duvets. All pillows and duvets have the “Nomite” mark which means they are suitable for people with dust mite allergies. There is an additional Shower Room/WC between the 2 bedrooms. The period living room is light, airy and beautiful. It has oak timber flooring (underfloor heating), a grand fireplace (no longer in use) and a sofa bed which can sleep one very comfortably. There is a 49” TV and a dining table which overlooks the Square - the perfect spot to watch Henley life. The kitchen is brand new and fully fitted with granite work tops and integrated appliances. Bosch oven, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, electric induction hob. It also has an Insinkerator (food waste disposal unit) and a hot tap for your tea/coffee.

Other Details to Note

As this apartment is one of 11, we would request that all guests staying here keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and respect our neighbours. This property is on the first floor and accessed via a staircase.

Accessibility and Availability

Neighborhood

Henley is a picturesque market town on the river which hosts many events throughout the year, the most famous being Henley Royal Regatta. Henley Festival, a black tie open air event soon after the Regatta is a unique music festival which has brought the likes of Elton John, Jessie J, Paloma Faith, Stevie Wonder and many more. The walk to Regatta or Festival is 7 mins. The apartment is close to a local butcher, pharmacy, supermarket (Waitrose and Sainsbury’s) and many restaurants and coffee shops. You can walk to the river within 5 minutes and can stroll along the towpath for miles. It is very close to the station so very accessible to those wishing to get here by train. Heathrow airport is 40 minutes away by taxi. The opening of the Elizabeth Line (tube line) from Central London to Reading (a 15 minute taxi ride from the apartment) makes a weekend or mid week break for Londoners a possibility. The Elizabeth Line also links Heathrow to Reading so international travellers can get to Henley very easily. The flat sits in a unique spot to venture into the surrounding Chiltern valley, and discover some celebrated local eateries.

Guest Access

This gated luxury development is accessed through Greys Road car park. There is private parking with automated double gates which open into a paved driveway. Walk 20 metres and enter the apartment through a communal door and up to the first floor. No 10 is to the left, and you can input your pin number to access the flat.

The property could not be more central! You are right in the middle of it all. All shops and amenities are close by. The apartment has a private car parking space but if you choose to come by train, Henley is a small town so you can get everywhere by foot. Heathrow airport is only 40 minutes away. If you need to hire a car, Co Wheels and Henley Town Council have brought pay-as-you-go cars to town and the car club spaces sit just outside the flat by the town hall.

We had an amazing stay, such a lovely place in a perfect location. It was easy to find thanks to the clear and helpful instructions provided. The apartment itself is bright, spacious, and very well equipped with everything we needed. The host was fantastic throughout, always responsive, friendly, and incredibly helpful, which made the whole experience even better. We’d highly recommend staying here, and if we return to Henley, we’d definitely choose this place again.

Amazing apartment. Right in the heart of Henley on Thames. We really enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean and very well appointed. Lovely bed linens and little touches like fully stocked shower and kitchen essentials. Location was amazing. Highly recommended. It was a super place to stay!

The fantastic location and modern, clean and spacious accomodation. Very helpful and friendly host. I can't think of one thing. If you aren't sure whether to book this place, just do it!! It's right next to lots of wonderful restaurants. Such a nice vibe on the street, people sitting outside of cafes etc. wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely property in the heart of Henley, there is a side gate that leads directly into the market square so couldn't be closer.Lots of great shops,bars and restaurants nearby, would highly recommend Luscombes. Parking at the back of the property was easy to access and secure. The apartment was very comfortable, warm and spotlessly clean.There was a little bit of noise at the front of the property, but the large ensuite bedroom is at the back of the property so was quiet. Key code access needed for the side gate, car park and building on a couple of occasions couldn't get the side door into the square to open so had to go to the back car park entrance. Also it is key code access to the apartment( no key) which took a bit of time to work out how to lock etc (not sure what happens if there is a power cut).

Whilst the entry directions seem a lot, when you first see them, if you follow them it all works perfectly. The flat is warm comfortable and if you follow the suggestions re showering then use of the hot water system works perfectly also. It is very clean, stylish warm and comfortable with a fast internet service, loved the private parking space for my colleague too. Being right in the middle of the town gave us many eating and drinking options within walking distance. We loved it and if in the area again will definitely return. At this time of year (March) it was excelent value for money. Nothing to dislike
